Course in Educational Theory and Practice

Participants: PhD students

Content: The overall purpose of this course is to introduce the participants to theories of learning and teaching methods in the health sciences educations. The course supports the students’ competences in understanding learning and in teaching other students, colleagues and collaborators. The aim is that participants are able to plan, conduct, and evaluate a specified lesson.

Duration: 21 hours in-class activities (three days) + 30 hours out-of-class activities (preparation, reading and exercises) before and in-between the three days of the course.

Number of participants: Max. 24 participants.
