Blackboard is a common e-learning platform of AU, which is used to learning material, activities and communication between teacher and students out-of-class.

Learning material can be produced directly in Blackboard using an advanced text editor and learning modules, or you can upload PowerPoint, video or other files, which you have already produced.

Blackboard also has other tools for activities e.g. collaborative tools such as blogs, wiki and discussion forum, as well as tools for tests, submission of assignments, peer assessment, rubricks etc. In addition, a variety of tools can be embedded in Blackboard and used there. This applies to e.g. Paddled or ThingLink.
