Participants: PhD students

Content:  As a researcher there will be several opportunities, challenges and demands for presentation activities. The oral presentation is one of the demanding output productions made through out a research career. Combined with modern information and communication technology (ICT) a researcher has a broad pallet of options to chose from but at the same time these options must be prioritized, arranged or dealt with in order of importance. Along with rhetorical skills, stage performance and technology knowledge the researcher must know the terminology on a expert level. The language used for communicating with other experts must be supplemented with a common rhetoric for general communication and dissemination of science. The technological and rhetorical skills and reflection skills trained in this course will benefit both research presentation and large class teaching.
